frequently asked questions about our pools

Additional Information

Q: Do you use chlorine in your pool?

A: Our pools use chlorine for sanitization and balanced twice daily with the highest quality filtration and the Bioguard Pool products  to help kill harmful bacteria and prevent the growth of algae.

Q:  Do i need to wash my dog after swimming

A: Rinsing or washing off your dogs is generally not necessary due to the well maintained levels of chlorine in our pools.  In addition, we use a softener/water conditioner to help maintain dog coats for our frequent swimmers.

Q: Is the water heated?

A: Due to the climate and the necessity of our above-ground dock diving pools being located outdoors, heating them is not possible. Instead, we rely on the natural warmth provided by the sun, courtesy of Mother Nature.

Q: Can we get in the  pool with our dog?

A: No humans are allowed in the pool, unless directed and accompanied by an instructor.
